LEID Products Names Peter Kujawski as President

Kujawski’s industry experience will lead company, known for patented
biometric asset control systems, into a new era

Auburn Hills, MI –
January 17, 2019 – LEID Products today announced the appointment of Peter
Kujawski as President, effective immediately. Sam Hoff, President since 2007,
will maintain board chairman responsibilities moving forward.

Kujawski joined LEID Products as Vice President of Business
Development in early 2018.  His previous
experience, including as a retired US Army Colonel, has given the company a
fresh perspective, resulting in significant momentum over the last year.

high confidence in me based on the changes and progress we have made in a such
a short period to time,” Kujawski said.  “We
have made great strides in the last six months to enhance our industry leading

successes and continue to assist our customers in protecting and securing
critical assets.”

LEID Products’ patented system stores and tracks assets
using biometric, RFID, and other tracking technology. With new product releases
on the horizon and an ever-increasing need for critical asset security and
accountability, Kujawski takes leadership of the company. 

Kujawski has roots in many of the same areas as LEID’s customers. Across the military, homeland security, law enforcement, and commercial and government building markets, LEID’s customers are looking for solutions to reliably store and track critical assets.

LEID Products Inc. hires VP of Business Development, Peter M. Kujawski, to expand market opportunities in U.S. and International markets.

Auburn Hills, MI – April 24, 2018 –  LEID Products, LLC, the leader in biometric asset protection and control systems, today announced its recent hiring of retired U.S. Army Colonel and award winning sales and marketing executive, Peter Kujawski, as the company’s Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, Kujawski will focus on accelerating LEID’s presence in the U.S. and international markets.

Kujawski has dynamically driven sales growth in the private sector including: as Vice President of Sig Sauer, Inc. for 8 years; Business Development Director for Nanocomp Technologies and View, Inc. Kujawski retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel serving in leadership assignments in the US, Europe and the Middle East.   His homeland security, military operations and training experience will serve LEID and their customers extremely well. Colonel Kujawski was awarded the Legion of Merit for his actions post the World Trade Center attacks of 9/11. Kujawski holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University.

Auburn Hills, MI –May 31, 2016– LEID Products, LLC., leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, today announced the issuance of U.S. Patent Number 9,355,510 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  The patent relates to a biometric access control system.  This is the third patent for the Biometric Access Control System (BACS™) product.

The patent encompasses the entire system of biometric access, equipment identification, and the user interface.  This means that LEID BACS is the only storage system that closes the accountability loop between user access and equipment return.

The Country Library and the City Library

We recently checked in on two of our library installations- one in the small town of Sandwich, IL and the other in the city of Silver Spring, MD.

 
The Country Library: Sandwich, IL
The Sandwich, IL Public Library District (population almost 8,000) installed the iLibrary system on a side of the building that allows for drive-through style access.

 

Their system includes one set of electronic lockers and a keypad.
The City Library: Silver Spring, MD
Silver Spring, MD (population 76,000+) is located just outside of Washington, DC.  This iLibrary system is located at the largest and newest of four branches in Silver Spring. 

This downtown branch is accessible to pedestrians, but also includes a drive up area.  There are two sets of electronic lockers equipped with a keypad and card reader.

 We hope both libraries enjoy their new systems for years to come!

Auburn Hills, MI – December 15, 2015 – LEID Products, LLC, the leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, is pleased to announce it has received Honorable Mention in LibraryWorks’ second annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs.)

The MLAs were created to recognize the top products in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Products were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products in their facilities were permitted to judge the products, resulting in a truly unbiased score.

Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, etc.

“We are delighted that our iLibrary system has been so well received,” said Sam Hoff, CEO of LEID Products.  “Modern libraries are always thinking creatively to engage patrons.
