It is an event we look forward to each year.  The International Association of Chiefs of Police host an annual conference that brings together impressive keynote speakers, informed discussions in forums and technical workshops, plus the largest exhibit hall comprised of products and services in the law enforcement community. Thousands of professionals from local, state, county, tribal and federal agencies will gather to learn and network. The event truly fosters informed and productive conversations across a variety of organizations.

LEID Products will travel next month to Philadelphia, PA to attend the IACP Conference from October 19-23. The event seeks to address critical issues in law enforcement, making it an unquestionable match for our BACS Asset and Evidence Management Systems. The company can be found in booth #1057, where LEID’s team will provide live demonstrations of the BACS System.

BACS_Evidence_Management_System_NAPD_webIn 2012, LEID Products displayed its BACS Evidence Management System for the first time at the event. The system ensures chain of custody reporting through serving the critical need for better standards for securing and tracking evidence. Web-enabled remote management allows for flexible management of the system; the administrator can access and manage the system from a laptop or computer in any location.

Police MagazineAfter the show, Police Magazine tipped its cap to LEID Products when it honored the BACS Evidence Management System in its “Best of Show” IACP Photo Gallery. Our system was noted by editors as one of the top 12 products of the 2012 IACP Show. Moreover, the BACS System was one of just nine products included in the IACP “News and Notes” review section of Law Enforcement Technology Magazine.

The IACP has been instrumental in forwarding breakthrough technologies and philosophies in law enforcement. From spearheading national use of fingerprint identification, to partnering in a consortium on community policing, to gathering top experts in criminal justice, the IACP delivers value to its members. The Annual IACP Conference & Exposition is open to members, sworn officers, first responders and civilian employees of public safety and government agencies and the armed forces.
