Auburn Hills, MI & Chicago, IL – June 20, 2017 – LEID Products, LLC, the leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, today announced it will be exhibiting at the American Library Association (ALA) Conference and Exhibition. The ALA Exhibition is taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois June 23-26, 2017.  LEID Products will showcase its Electronic Modular Access Unit and web-enabled iLibrary kiosk in booth #4630 which is near the Mobile App Pavilion.

One of the biggest challenges for library administrators today is finding innovative ways to expand outreach of their library facility, while working with budgets which have remained restrictive.  LEID Products will be among more than 900 organizations exhibiting at this premier event.

LEID Products iLibrary System is a cost-effective solution empowering libraries to meet convenience needs by offering self-service, around-the-clock, express library locations. The iLibrary System is made up of LEID’s tamper-proof Electronic Modular Access Units and a web-enabled iLibrary Kiosk. Patrons browse and order materials online or directly through the iLibrary Kiosk. The patron will receive notification of delivery and can pick up materials from the system’s electronic lockers at any time by swiping their library card and/or entering a code into the keypad.

Worthington and Pickerington Public Libraries in Ohio and Barrington Public Library in Illinois are all expanding their self-service locations originally purchased from LEID Products.

LEID’s Access.it System with electronic library lockers is a cost-effective, secure, rugged, and tamperproof self-service libra  ry access system for libraries to make materials more accessible to all patrons. Libraries can offer 24/7 access to library holds by placing the self-service Access.it units outside the branch. Libraries can also open new self-service mini branches at other community gathering locations such as recreation centers, parks, train stations, etc.

Missouri’s Christian County to Unveil Magic Library Xpress at Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Christian County Public Library expands services to out-lying communities with an automated library pick-up site utilizing LEID Products self-service electronic library lockers.
Auburn Hills, MI – November 1, 2013 – LEID Products, LLC., the leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, today announced its newest iLibrary customer, Christian County Public Library in Missouri, will celebrate the grand opening of what it has coined the Magic Library Xpress this weekend from 1-3 p.m. on November 2nd. The county library is located over 10 miles from some of the community it serves; therefore, it has opened this remote pickup and drop-off location for library materials at the Xpress Mart in Highlandville, MO to better serve all patrons.

“The community is very excited about this new service. Until now, Highlandville and Spokane residents have had to drive 10 miles or more to access library materials,” said Taneesa Hall, executive secretary of Christian County Library. “The electronic library locker system from LEID Products was simple to set up, and we are looking forward to our grand opening celebration on Saturday.”

On June 10th the Scott County Public Library cut the ribbons for “Library Express Sadieville.” Approximately 60 citizens attended the ribbon cutting and summer reading kick-off with demonstrations, magic show, bookmobile and ice cream. And right on key, as the library director gave the agenda for the day, a break was taken as the train passed through. I believe this was a sign that we had blessings from the founders of Sadieville!
