Auburn Hills, MI & Chicago, IL – June 20, 2017 – LEID Products, LLC, the leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, today announced it will be exhibiting at the American Library Association (ALA) Conference and Exhibition. The ALA Exhibition is taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois June 23-26, 2017.  LEID Products will showcase its Electronic Modular Access Unit and web-enabled iLibrary kiosk in booth #4630 which is near the Mobile App Pavilion.

One of the biggest challenges for library administrators today is finding innovative ways to expand outreach of their library facility, while working with budgets which have remained restrictive.  LEID Products will be among more than 900 organizations exhibiting at this premier event.

LEID Products iLibrary System is a cost-effective solution empowering libraries to meet convenience needs by offering self-service, around-the-clock, express library locations. Midwest Libraries Expand Self-Service Pickup Locations with LEID Products Library Solutions

Auburn Hills, MI – June 6, 2017 – LEID Products, LLC., the leader of electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, today announced growing demand for its Access.it Library Solutions in Ohio and Illinois.  These libraries report that the popularity of self-service after-hour pickup service among library patrons is growing. Worthington and Pickerington Public Libraries in Ohio and Barrington Public Library in Illinois are all expanding their self-service locations originally purchased from LEID Products.

LEID’s Access.it System with electronic library lockers is a cost-effective, secure, rugged, and tamperproof self-service libra  ry access system for libraries to make materials more accessible to all patrons. Libraries can offer 24/7 access to library holds by placing the self-service Access.it units outside the branch. Libraries can also open new self-service mini branches at other community gathering locations such as recreation centers, parks, train stations, etc.

A customer of LEID Products for ten years, Barrington Area Library offers patrons four self-service pickup locations: South Branch in the South Barrington Park District; Willow Recreation Center; Barrington Hills Village Hall; and the Barrington Train Station. The new Access.it electronic locker system will be installed at the Willow Recreation Center. Carver County’s “Victoria Express Library” and the Oak Grove City Center, a joint project with the City of Norwood Young America and the Carver County Community Development Agency (CDA), each earned recognition as effective and creative programs that demonstrate Carver County’s work to provide quality and efficient government, according to a Carver County press release. BEREA – The Madison County Public Library is everywhere.

Ruthie Maslin, director of the Madison County Public Library, explains the lockers and drop-off system of Library-On-The-Go to Earl G. Estes of Waco during its grand opening Friday outside the Cole’s Moberly Shell Station at 3306 Irvine Road. Library-On-The-Go will allow Waco and Moberly residents better library access by allowing them to reserve materials by phone and pick them up and drop them off at the satellite location. (more…)
